Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations
Medication Evaluation & Management

An accurate diagnosis is an important first step. However, specific symptoms within each diagnosis may vary from person to person. For this reason I strive to understand each client as a unique individual and will work with clients to develop tailored strategies toward their goals in treatment and life.

I specialize in working with those 18 and older living with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD and other psychiatric health conditions. I have experience in treating substance use and dual diagnosis disorders as well as a host of other psychiatric conditions.

Initial consultations are one hour. Follow up medication management appointments are generally 30-45 minutes. During the initial consultation I hope to learn more about you, your past experiences, current reasons for seeking treatment, and your goals moving forward. Treatment plans may include diet & lifestyle modifications, psychiatric medications, broad spectrum micronutrients, and/or supplements, with strong support for engagement in simultaneous psychotherapy or coaching (with an external provider) for the most robust treatment outcomes. I support collaborative care and open communication across your treatment team to provide the best possible care to you as a whole person.

MBH is a small, solo managed office. There is no on-call service after hours, on weekends, or during holidays. There is no emergency/crisis coverage. Clients experiencing emergencies are expected to call 911 or go to their nearest emergency room. Potential clients who may experience frequent crises or those who prefer high frequency contact or on demand access to their provider are encouraged to seek services with a larger clinic that may better serve their individualized needs.

MBH does not accept insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. However, MBH may provide patients with a coded receipt that may be submitted to their insurance (commercial insurance only) for possible out-of-network  benefits reimbursement per patient request. To avoid surprise out-of-pocket expenses, please review your out-of-network insurance benefits, restrictions, and limitations with your insurance carrier before scheduling with MBH. Please be aware that there is no guarantee your insurance will reimburse any portion of visit fees.

Initial evaluations are $300 (up to 60 minutes), $425 (up to 90 minutes), or $550 (up to 120 minutes). Follow up appointments are $175 (up to 30 minutes, most common), $225 (up to 45 minutes), or $250 (up to 60 minutes).

For telehealth appointments, patients must be physically located in Connecticut at the time of the appointment. Payment is due at time of the appointment. MBH accepts payment via debit card, credit card, HSA card, check, or cash.
